Tin Can Appeal. Don’t Bin It, Tin It!

October 2017 saw the launch of our campaign to help The British Ironworks at Oswestry by collecting tins.

“We’re collecting ONE MILLION clean, label free, tin cans with the goal of reducing the burden on landfill whilst educating children on the importance of recycling and, with those cans, we plan to smash the current world record can sculpture (currently held by Japanese Junior Chamber International Toyohashi made up of 104,840) by making a 30ft bust of Her Majesty the Queen!”

As a school, we are appealing for donation of clean, label free tins to be brought into school to help the Ironworks Centre meet their target.
