The children have been finding out about democracy, one of our British Values. They looked at the houses of parliament, why it is important and what the role of the government is. A polling station was set up in each class with a polling booth and each child voted for their favourite flavour crisp, after trying each one and making a decision. The votes were then counted and checked and the winner was worked out by finding out which flavour crisps had the most. The children then enjoyed a bowl of crisps with the flavour of crisp that was the winner whether they chose it or not.
