Royal British Legion

Remembrance

At the start of remembrance week members of the Royal British Legion, led by David Smith, came into school to talk to the children in an assembly about the meaning of remembrance.  The children learnt three key words to do with wearing poppies: Remind, Remember, Respect.

On Friday 11th November children in Reception and Year 2 went to take part in the remembrance service.  The children in reception made their own poppy wreaths which they were able to lay.
