Could your child be eligible?

Registering for Free School Meals may provide additional funding for Market Drayton Infant & Nursery School through the Pupil Premium Grant. This funding helps us provide extra support and opportunities for eligible children, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.

Why register?

For every eligible child who is registered, the school receives £1500 of additional funding that can be used to support learning and wellbeing through initiatives such as:

• Educational visits and enrichment activities
• Breakfast club provision
• Support with school uniform and PE kit
• Additional learning resources and interventions
• After-school clubs and activities
• Pastoral and wellbeing support

Even if your child chooses to have packed lunches, registering can still provide valuable additional funding for your child within school. 

What is Pupil Premium?

The Pupil Premium Grant is funding provided by the Government to help schools improve outcomes for disadvantaged pupils and ensure every child has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
