Online Safety

In the modern world, the internet and its uses are everywhere and children are online for many reasons. Whilst being online has many benefits, it is important for our young people know how to use the internet safely. Online safety is an integral part of our PSHE and Computing Curriculum.

Please see what we cover below:

These are the broad topics we address throughout our curriculum but we also target more specific issues as the need arises. Keeping children talking about the internet and what they are doing on it, is a great way to continuously address online safety – something we can all be a part of!

As children use the internet throughout their lives, not just at school, here are some posters and websites that can help us help little ones navigate the online world.

When our children start each year, we discuss our Acceptable User Policy Children and the children sign it. We then remind ourselves of this before we use the devices.
